VASCO: The Goa Customs seized foreign currency worth over Rs 12 lakh from a Dubai bound passenger.
Based on intelligence, Customs officers apprehended an international passenger who was travelling to Dubai via Muscat by Oman Air flight.
The team recovered assorted foreign currencies equivalent to Indian Rs 12.16 lakh. The assorted foreign currencies were concealed inside two packets of special roasted breads and in a black colour pouch kept in the hand baggage of the International passenger.
