Forest dept staffers financially help deceased colleague’s family

SANGUEM: In a kind gesture, the officials of the forest department right from Peon to the Conservator of Forest contributed their mite for the welfare and well being of the family members of their deceased colleague Prashant Natoshe who, recently, died in a tragic accident. 
Hailing from Devgotimoll in Kalay from a poor family, Natoshe had joined the forest department less than two years ago and was reportedly under probation at the time of his untimely death. 
Since Natoshe was under probation and as his services were not confirmed, he could not get any service benefits from the government. However, considering the financial difficulties of the family members of their deceased colleague, the officials of the Forest Department came together and contributed in whatever way they could to help the family members of Prashant Natoshe. 
Altogether the officials collected a sum of Rs 2.75 lakh and handed over the same to the family members of Natoshe at his residence on December 4. The officials were ACF Raju Desai, Anand Jadhav, Vishwas Chodankar, RFOs Dnyaneshwar Kudalkar and Vishwas Gaonkar. Kalay Sarpanch Kishore Gauns Desai and panchayat member Babu Xelke were also present. 
Sarpanch Kishore Gauns Desai expressed sincere thanks to the forest department employees for their financial help to the family members of Natoshe at times of need.
