Foundation for Rs 650 crore flyover at Dabolim on July 12

VASCO: Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari will lay the foundation stone for Rs 650 crore flyover from the Grade Separator at Dabolim Airport to Queeny Nagar on July 12.

Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho, who met Gadkari in Delhi, informed that he has requested Gadkari for deployment of an expert to conduct a comprehensive study, provide a swift report, and recommend immediate actions and necessary funding for addressing the critical issue of road safety in the State.

The Union Minister is also likely to inaugurate the newly built flyover at Mopa on the same day.

Meanwhile, the opposition Congress party had sought an appointment with the MoRTH Minister to discuss fatal accidents, substandard quality of highway works and bypass issues.
