PONDA: The Ponda police arrested four persons on the charge of assaulting a one Navesh Mazgaonkar at Panditwada, Ponda.
The police gave the names of the accused as Abhishek Naik, 30; Omkar alias Picklet Naik, 23; Saish Sawant, 19 and Arjun Honnikol, 23, all residents of Panditwada, Ponda. According to the police, the victim’s wife Namita Mazgaonkar had filed a complaint. Due to assault, Navesh has sustained fracture to his cheek and chin. The accused also gave dire consequences to him.
The police have registered a case against the four accused under Sections 504, 325, 506(ii) read with 34 IPC.
