PONDA: Four persons were injured, two of them seriously, in an accident at Bethora on Friday at 1.30 pm.
Ponda police said that Ravab Khan (20) and Isamudeen Khan (21), both residents of Bethora were travelling towards Ponda on a motorcycle, while Rehana Zakati (42) and Shabir Noor Narvadi (21), also from Bethora, were coming from the opposite direction. Both the vehicles collided head on.
Due to the accident, Ravab and Isamudeen suffered fractures in their legs; they were taken to Goa Medical College and Hospital at Bambolim, while Rehana Zakati and Shabir Noor Narvadi were taken to the Sub District Hospital at Ponda.
