Another four inmates of the Colvale Central Jail tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday.
It may be recalled that last week seven jail guards and 28 undertrials tested positive for the infection while two inmates were found positive on Monday,.
Meanwhile, another 22 cases have been reported in the Colvale PHC jurisdiction including a family of 15 members from Nadora who are immediate contacts of earlier infected person.
Another 14 cases have been detected under Siolim PHC jurisdiction which includes five in Canca, seven in Parra and two in Siolim.
Under Siolim PHC, a family of six tested positive in Parra, three cases were detected in Siolim which includes two employees of a restaurant.
Aldona PHC detected seven new cases.
