MAPUSA: Four people sustained injuries in an accident that occurred at Karaswada, on Wednesday evening.
According to information received from the Mapusa Police Station, the accident took place around 5.15 pm wherein a scooter collided with a car at Karaswada.
The police informed that when the two vehicles collided, two-wheeler rider lost control and fell on the road while the car went ahead and fell off the road after dashing the retaining wall. Both the vehicles were heading towards Karaswada from Peddem.
The car driver Shrikrishna Salkar, resident of Dangui Colony, two young women and scooter rider Vishram Palayekar, resident of Madel sustained injuries in the accident.
Mapusa Police registered an accident case after conducting panchanama. Head Constable Dinesh Satelkar is further investigating the case.
