PANJIM: The fourth accused in the Merces attack Sai Kundaikar, who had absconded soon after the incident, surrendered before the court on Monday. The Merces resident had applied for anticipatory bail which was scheduled to be heard on Monday, but police sources said, he withdrew the petition and surrendered.
Three accused, rape convict Lawrence Dias, and two other accused with criminal offences Suraj Shetye and Vishal Golatkar were arrested for attempt to murder. The four have been charged with attempting to kill a group of tourists from Mumbai last week.
