CALANGUTE: A French national died after he accidentally fell in a pit at Chapora on Sunday.
According to reports, the seriously injured Laurent Leboul was rushed to District Hospital at Mapusa. However, he died on the way to the hospital. In another incident at Assagao, Hiramani Pirki (28) of Chattisgarh, but residing at Assagao, reportedly committed suicide after hanging herself to a rod inside her rented premises at Assagao.
Police is investigating the case.
