FRRO Goa, BSF Deport Six Bangladeshi Nationals Found Staying Illegally; 35 Deported Since 2025

In a joint operation, the Foreigners Regional Registration Office Goa (FRRO) and the Border Security Force (BSF) deported six Bangladeshi nationals who were found residing in Goa without valid documents.

Officials said the deportation was carried out on February 25 after due verification and completion of legal formalities. The individuals were reportedly staying in the state illegally without proper travel or residential documentation.

35 Illegal Immigrants Deported Since 2025

Authorities further revealed that since the beginning of 2025, a total of 35 Bangladeshi nationals residing illegally in Goa have been identified and deported.

The FRRO, in coordination with law enforcement and central agencies, has intensified checks to identify foreign nationals overstaying or residing without valid permits.

Officials stated that regular inspections and verification drives are being conducted across the state to curb illegal immigration and ensure compliance with immigration laws.

Authorities reiterated their commitment to taking strict action against those found violating visa norms and residency regulations.
