MARGAO: Fuel theft accused Shwetan Simepuruskar was remanded in police custody for five days, by a local court here on Thursday. However, he has applied for bail again.
Simepuruskar surrendered at Fatorda Police station on October 23. He is accused of stealing fuel and a case to that effect was registered on August 28.
Police have already arrested four persons in the matter and booked Chandrakant Prabhu, the owner of the tanker, from which the fuel was stolen.
