PANJIM: Gawada, Kunbi, Velip and Dhangar (GAKUVED) Federation held series of corner meetings in last 10 days at village panchayat level in Tiswadi Taluka to create awareness about the constitutional rights of tribals and agitate against the government for not fulfilling pending demands.
The meeting also decided to expose the plans of the current State government to uproot the Niz-Goakar from their own lands by making them refugees in their own land.
In order to strengthen the organisation at grass root level, village panchayat level committees were appointed and declared for Curca-Bambolim-Talaulim; Chmibel and Santa Cruz village panchayat.
