MARGAO: Gawada Kunbi Velip and Dhangar Federation (GAKUVED) offered tributes to tribal leader Pedro Natalino Gama (Peter Gama) who passed away on Wednesday, at the age of 65.
The Federation members are pained by passing away of a founding member of the GAKUVED Federation. Peter was always a fighter and stood by the Community issues. The Federation has offered condolences to his family, the GAKUVED said.
He has also fought the legal battle in the Supreme Court for political reservation for Scheduled Tribes in Assembly.
