After the uttar puja the final rituals were completed late evening and the people carried or drove their Ganapati idol to the nearest spring or water body for immersion. Most of the families in Margao immerse the holy idols in the Davorlim spring, Ana Fonte Spring, Zariwado spring or wells in their locality.
