Ganesh Jayanti Revered with Grandeur across the state of Goa

The joyous occasion of Ganesh Jayanti resonated with fervor and tradition throughout the state of Goa. Devotees from every corner congregated to seek blessings from Lord Ganesh, the embodiment of wisdom, during this auspicious Hindu festival. Pernem, Siolim, Panjim, and Margao radiated grandeur as devotees marked the occasion with splendor and devotion.

At Shree Ganesh Mandir Paraste in Pernem, the birth of Lord Ganesh was commemorated with exquisite devotion, showcasing the timeless tradition upheld by the current generation. Prakash Kambli, the committee member of Shree Ganesh Mandir, expressed his joy over the continued preservation and observance of Ganesh Jayanti.

Also known as Varad Chaturthi, this festival holds significant reverence in Maharashtra and resonates deeply across Goa. Celebrated on the shukla paksha chaturthi day of the month of Magha, corresponding to January/February in the Gregorian calendar, Ganesh Jayanti draws devotees seeking the benevolent blessings of Lord Ganesh for wisdom and prosperity.

Devotees gathered at Shree Ganesh Mandir in Siolim to honor the birth of Lord Ganesh, while at Shree Bal Ganesh Mandir in Aquem Margao, the auspicious occasion was celebrated with utmost devotion and grandeur.

The vibrant spirit of Ganesh Jayanti illuminated the surroundings of Shri Apteshwar Siddhivinayak Temple in St. Inez, Panjim, as devotees came together to commemorate the birth of Lord Ganesh with profound reverence and devotion.
