VASCO: Goencho Avaaz Party (GAP) on Thursday, urges Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai to dismiss Goa Government in light of former Governor Satya Pal Malik’s corruption allegations.
The party, in its press note, claimed that it has been consistently highlighting Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant-led BJP government’s failure in tackling the COVID crisis, which allegedly led to the deaths of thousands of innocent Goans, stood vindicated in the light of the grave corruption charges made by Malik.
Former Governor exposes the BJP’s desperation and its panicky crisis management pressure tactics in close proximity to the State’s election, said the party in its press statement.
Since Malik’s corruption accusations on the State government are on record, and have been seen by almost every Goan, the party appeals to Governor Pillai to start an independent and objective investigation to probe into these serious allegations without interference or tampering of evidence.
