PANJIM: The garbage dump at Campal parade ground once again caught fire on Friday evening. It took three fire tenders to douse the flames, cause of which is still not known.
Information shared by Fire Panjim Station reveals that fire fighting operation took around two hours. “We received a call at 7:01 pm that the garbage dump site was in flames. Our fire fighting team rushed to the site. We contained the fire using three fire tender. Our team returned after ensuring that fire is extinguished completely,” an official told Herald.

The cause of fire is yet to be ascertained even as authorities concerned like City Corporation will be informed about the incident for further action.
