Sources revealed that the detailed investigation will continue in the alleged bribery case though Garg has been relieved from Goa Police and transferred to Delhi.
The Lokayukta also heard the 19-minute audio clip in which the former IGP allegedly accepted the bribe. The Lokayuta also asked the complainant to submit another copy of the clip via CD, which has been submitted.
The Lokayukta had summoned Garg on October 21 to record his statement in connection with the alleged bribery charge levelled against him by businessman Munnalal Halwai.
