PANIM: The Goa Chambers of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) in their message said that the President Ralph De Sousa and the Managing Committee of GCCI express their heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of Victor M. Albuquerque.
The release added that a doyen of the hospitality industry in Goa, he was instrumental in boosting the hotel, construction as well as health care in Goa. His life story is inspiring as he started his career as in Assistant Engineer in PWD and created one of Goa’s largest construction and hospitality group. The Radisson Group of Hotels and the Victor Hospital are a part of the Alcon Group.
He had the vision to foray in alternate medicine also which has led to the creation of Devaaya Ayurveda & Nature cure centre & Mercure. Albuqerque has had a long association with the GCCI and had guided the real estate as well as tourism related initiatives by the Chamber.
The release from GCCI further said that GCCI acknowledges the immense contribution of Mr Victor Albuquerque to the hospitality, health care and construction industry of Goa and conveys its sincere condolences to his family.
