PANJIM: The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has rescheduled the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) 2021 to mid-June, which was earlier slated to be conducted on May 4-5, 2021.
DTE, on Friday issued a public notice stating that the exact date of the qualifying entrance exam for admission to various professional colleges will be announced by June 1.
“Goa Common Entrance Test GCET 2021 notified to be conducted on 4th and 5th May, 2021 stands postponed, and shall be conducted in mid–June, 2021. Application forms for GCET 2021 shall be accepted in May 2021. Dates and procedure for submission of application forms for GCET 2021 shall be notified by 1st May, 2021 and exact date of conduct of GCET 2021 by 1st June 2021,” the notice states.
The prospectus containing details of courses, seats, eligibility and merit criteria, rules and procedures for admissions, rounds of admissions, etc will be notified in March 2021.
