PANJIM: In a notification issued by the Department of Finance, Government Departments, Corporations, autonomous bodies now can engage services of Goa Electronics Ltd (GEL) for e-Governance and IT software related issues pertaining to their organisations.
“This is only an optional choice and Government Departments can very well opt for open tendering, if they so desire. This has the approval of the Council of Ministers by circulation,” reads the notification.
