PANJIM: Stating that it has no objection to commence iron ore mining operations in the State, Goa Foundation demanded that the government take over mining leases and run the industry through a special corporation.
The Foundation is also not in favour of auctioning mining leases, but advises that the process of extraction of iron ore be auctioned out, fetching maximum benefit.
