GFG demands judicial probe

MARGAO: Goans For Goa has demanded a judicial probe into the Canacona building collapse and book those involved in the crime for culpable homicide.

MARGAO: Goans For Goa has demanded a judicial probe into the Canacona building collapse and book those involved in the crime for culpable homicide.
Saying that the incident has exposed the nexus between the various licensing authorities and builders, GFG President Kennedy Afonso urged the Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar not to resort to face saving, blame games, but to conduct a thorough inquiry into the project. 
“This tragedy has occurred due to negligence of the authorities. GFG demands a judicial inquiry to look into the irregularities and those involved to be booked for culpable homicide.”
Afonso demanded that an inquiry should also be conducted into how payment was made by the local MLA for purchase of an apartment in Ruby Residency.
