KLES to provide free dentures

BELGAUM: KLES Vishwanath Katti Institute of Dental Sciences, Nehru Nagar, will provide free dentures to the people from Goa belonging to economically weaker section during this week.

BELGAUM: KLES Vishwanath Katti Institute of Dental Sciences, Nehru Nagar, will provide free dentures to the people from Goa belonging to economically weaker section during this week.
KLES Dr Prabhakar Kore Hospital has also commenced a fully equipped dental clinic in its premises, especially for the benefit of the people of Goa.
Principal of the institute Dr Alka Kale who inaugurated ‘Free denture week’ has urged the needy and poor people from Belgaum, Goa and neighbouring areas to avail the opportunity.
“I urge people belonging to economically weaker section, especially those who cannot afford to pay to make use of this week that will be observed between January 6 to 11 and avail a free denture,” Dr Kale said.
Head of Prosthodontics department, Dr Raghunath Patil said that all the needy patients registered from January 6-11 will be provided with a free complete denture. Needy persons can contact the institute in the premises of the KLE University here.
Meanwhile, Medical Director and CEO of KLES Hospital Dr M V Jali told Herald that for the benefit of a large number of patients and their relatives who visit the KLES Hospital for various ailments has now commenced a full fledged dental clinic. 
Stating that the number of dental patients is on the rise, the clinic will facilitate Goans and patients from Goa to get a dental check-up and related treatments within the premises. The attendants of the patients too can avail this facility, Dr Jali said urging Goans to avail this facility.
