MARGAO: Fatorda Forward, panel formed by Goa Forward Party, announced its candidates for wards 2 and 3 in Fatorda for the Margao Municipal Council (MMC) elections. GFP President Vijai Sardesai introduced the candidates Crasto Joao Nicolau for ward 2 which covers Gawliwaddo and candidate Lyndon Pereira for ward 3 that encompass Dovandem, Virabhat, and Ambaji.
Fatorda MLA Sardesai also accompanied the candidates in their door to door campaigning. Speaking to the residents, Sardesai claimed that that all the candidates from Fatorda Forward platform stand for the party’s vision and mission of Goem, Goemkar and Goemkarponn.
“Delhi tricks and their PR promises don’t work in Fatorda, here the people are well informed, discerning and knowledgeable, and judge candidates by their merit. I have full faith in Crasto and Lyndon, and I know for sure that they will work hard and fulfil all the needs of the people,” said Sardesai.
He further promised that if elected he would make Fatorda future-ready so that all residents, especially the children, live in a town capable to cater their future needs.
