MARGAO: The Goa Forward Party President and Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai on Saturday expressed anguish over the tragic loss of lives due to the mishap of Dubai-Calicut Air India Express flight.
He also reminded the government on the reduction of length of Mopa runway and added that let the people decide about the present government and its affairs.
Vijai said, “Anguished over the flight accident in Kozhikode, Kerala. I express my deepest condolences to the families of those who have lost their lives in the accident and pray for speedy recovery of the injured passengers. Prayers with Kerala in moment of grief.”
“Friday night we had a devastating air crash in Kerala as the aircraft supposedly overshot the runway. Shockingly, our Government of Goa in July this year resolved to reduce the length of runway at the proposed Mopa Airport. Goemkars can decide what is going on under the present government,” Vijai added.
