MARGAO: The Goa Forward Party has welcomed the State Executive Committee’s (SEC) decision to reduce the quarantine period for international travellers in sync with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) guidelines.
GFP President Vijai Sardesai reminded that after his discussion with the Chief Secretary this morning, the SEC has taken the decision.
“However, we still think it is discriminatory to distressed Goenkars returning to their first homes as compared to non-Goans who wish to come to their second homes and for leisure.
“We will discuss this on Tuesday with the Chief Secretary as per our scheduled appointment,” mentioned Vijai.
