MARGAO: The Green Goa Foundation (GGF) has filed a complaint against illegal chicken slaughter by the roadside which is going on all over the major roads in the State. GGF has said that they are prepared to approach courts if necessary action is not taken.
In a letter to the Chief Secretary, Food and Drugs Administration, and other agencies, Chairman Raison Almeida, has written to the authorities that they have been receiving complaints against illegal slaughter and sale of live chicken/poultry.
