PANJIM: Director of Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute, Goa (ICAR-CCARI) Parveen Kumar said the process of granting Geographical Indications (GI) tag for Goan pork sausages is under process.
Kumar said, “In coming days we will get to see potatoes and cauliflowers grown in Goa. In addition, ICAR-CCARI has developed a novel boar semen extender (NBSE) which is granted a patent.
Kumar was speaking at the function of 33rd Foundation Day celebrations of the ICAR-CCARI, on Sunday.
Scientists and staff were also awarded appreciation certificates for their exemplary work.
