PANJIM: The Goa Industrial Development Corporation on Friday declared that the Corporation, as part of its efforts in enhancing the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) has formulated standard operating procedures (SOPs) to provide time bound delivery of Building Construction Licence and Occupancy Certificates for Industries.
The GIDC said that the procedure to be followed for issuance of Building Licence/Permit/Technical Clearance/Development Permission; and Procedure to be followed for issuance of Occupancy Certificate/Completion Order have been simplified and the licences and certificates would be made available to the applicant within a tentative time frame of 30 days.
Similar SOPs would be formulated in relation to the allotment, transfer, handing over possession of plots, sublease, terms and condition for execution of the lease deed etc, so that the global industries choose Goa as a preferred destination, the GIDC added in its release.
