VASCO: A 25-year-old girl was found lying dead below a building at Chicalim on Friday.
Vasco police informed that the girl, who was staying with her father in a three-storey building at Adarshnagar, Chicalim was found dead early morning by neighbours. The neighbours then alerted her father about his daughter lying dead on the ground.
Sources further said that during investigation it was learnt that the girl had reportedly attended a wedding ceremony the previous night and had returned home in the flat she shared with her father.
Father had reportedly retired early and was surprised when the neighbours of the locality alerted him about his daughter’s body on Friday morning.
Further, police rushed to the spot and conducted panchanama. The exact nature of the girl’s death is not yet ascertained, police said.
