PANJIM: Our Lady of the Rosary High School, Dona Paula, has excelled in the SSC Board exams, securing 100 per cent results. Out of the 123 students Leane Noronha scored 94.83 per cent, Kylie Nazareth (92.5%), Vania Gonsalves (91.3%), Disha Gauns (90.83%) and Shivani Juwarkar (90.16%). Rhea De Souza secured 100 marks in Social Science. The Principal, Sr Antoneita Colaco congratulated the students and the teachers.
It has also been stated that Dayanand High School at Chorao too achieved 100 per cent result in the SSC exam with all 29 students that appeared passing. Two students secured Distinction, followed by first class (11) and second class (16).
Vidya Vikas Academy too excelled, achieving 100 per cent results at the ICSE Class X examination for the 9th year in succession and 100 per cent results for the CBSE Class XII. Haylee Monteiro stood first at Class XII with 96 per cent and Kenneth Da Silva stood first at Class X with 96.16 per cent.
Meanwhile, a student of Presentation Convent High School, Margao, Kelly Monteiro Egipsy topped the school with 94.33 per cent. She has also secured 100 per cent marks in music exam Grade III theory conducted by Trinity College London.
She is the daughter of Dr Ivan Egipsy, ENT surgeon and Liesl Monteiro Egipsy, Lecturer at Agnel Polytechnic, Verna.
At Mushtifund High School, Panjim, Radhiya Kalidas Wadji has come in first in the school achieving 94 per cent in SSC examination. She scored 99 per cent in Science, Maths (96%), Social Science (95%) and Sanskrit (95%).
And in Fatima Convent High School, Margao, Fezira Livra Rogtao topped with 95.10 percentage marks in the SSC examination. She is the daughter of ex-deputy sarpanch of Betalbatim, Amy Rogtao and Antao Rogtao. Fezira has also excelled at the state level, in football, as a strong defender for her school for the last three years and has a keen interest in dancing and playing badminton.
Dielle Jade Martins (94.33 per cent) and Prerna Shawnee Fernandes (92.50 per cent) were the other toppers in the school.
