PANJIM: GMR Goa International Airport Limited (GGIAL), which will build and develop the airport at Mopa has extended the last day for submitting the Request for Qualification (RFQ) for engineering, procurement and construction for the second time in a row.
The last date has been extended till July 7, 2017 after various bidders requested some clarification on the RFQ for engineering, procurement and construction of the airport at Mopa.
“Interested parties may download the tender document free of charge from www.gmrgroup.in/GMR-Goa-International-Airport.aspx or https://procurement.gmrgroup.in/” states a notice on the GMR website.
GGIAL had floated a global tender inviting contractors having experience in designing, procurement and construction of airports for which the last day of submission of RFQ was June 26 after which it was extended till June 30.
Work for the project will comprise site preparation, construction of terminal building, air traffic control (ATC) tower, airside and landside infrastructure and other associated work.
