PANJIM: Elections for 24 of 40 members of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) will be held on July 16.
As per procedure GBSHSE has updated its voters list wherein members were asked to submit their names by March 15. “The list is updated because during this period, some members retire and as such, they are not eligible to cast their votes,” an official said.
The elected members on the Board will consist of four principals – two each from both the districts – two representatives from the Vocational stream, two grade-I teachers from higher secondary schools, six headmaster of secondary schools, six high school teachers and management representatives.
