PANJIM: Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) will soon launch an online portal wherein from the academic year 2018-19 schools will have to submit students’ sports merit marks for Class X and XII board examination online.
As of now schools submit the sports merit marks manually to GBSHSE and the authorities then enter the marks in their system.
Speaking to Herald, GBSHSE-Chairman Ramkrishna Samant said, “We are in the process of launching this online portal where sports merits marks would have to be directly entered by the school through online mode. I think by next month this will be launched. The software for this is already developed.”
GBSHSE, through a circular, informed schools that it should get certificates authenticated by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs and Sports Authority of Goa (SAG) and submit it to them latest by March 29.
