PANJIM: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has made a partial move towards a paperless office with the launch of online filling of examination forms and soon to launch SMS alert service to update all institutions about the forms filled by their students.
This is yet another step aiming at paperless system after a successful beginning with the Goa Legislative Assembly in the recently-concluded monsoon session.
Board Chairman JR Rebello said the SMS alert service will begin within a fortnight which will simultaneously be sent along with detailed email to heads of the high schools and higher secondary schools.
“The e-service will replace issuance of circular and this will in turn, save paper. In case an application filled by a particular student is not complete or has some errors, we will send an SMS alert with details via mail to the concerned head of institution, for necessary action,” he explained.
With the already implemented e-forms for exams in months of March and October, only a registered user of GBSHSE website can have access through code numbers to each form.
