Goa celebrates children’s day

Every year, November 14, is celebrated as Children’s Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Nehru was very fond of children, in his free time would spend a moment with them. He was fondly called ‘Chacha Nehru’, from the year 1964, his birthday was celebrated as Children’s Day. After two and a half years Children’s day was celebrated by Mushtifund High School at Jogger’s Park, Altinho.
