Sankhali, Goa: The serene banks of the Valvonti River witnessed a cultural extravaganza as the state festival “Tripurari Poornima” unfolded on Sunday.
The festival, held at the sacred premises of the Shree Vitthal Temple, marked the convergence of cultural performances, religious rituals, and festive fervour. A joint effort of various departments and community organizations, the event aimed to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Goa and foster a sense of unity among the residents.
The festivities commenced with traditional rituals and prayers, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere. The highlight of the celebration was the vibrant cultural performances, including folk dances, music recitals, and other traditional art forms that added colour and rhythm to the event.
