To mark the 75th year of India’s Independence, Chief Minister
Pramod Sawant participated in a Tiranga rally as part of Azadi ka Amrit
Mahotsav with cabinet ministers, students and other citizens. The rally was
flagged off at Azad Maidan in Panjim on Saturday morning.
Similarly, students
in various parts of the State marched forth carrying the tricolour thus
giving a boost to the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’
campaign. Several functions will be held across the state to celebrate India’s
Independence.
