Goa beams with pride as the
Goa Yogasana Team clinched 2 gold and 1 silver medal and the overall team
championship at Khelo India Youth Games in Panchkula. The team comprising of
Niral Wadekar, Aashnee Bhat Sarmalkar, Frazeen Zakati, Yashica Chevli &
Manaswi Das emerged as winners in the Artistic group in Yogasana.
Yogasana was
introduced as a sport for the first time at the Khelo India Youth Games held in
Haryana. General Secretary Yogasana Sports Association Kamlesh Bandekar has
requested the government to provide maximum facilities for the sport
