“Anyone who wants to defeat the BJP is welcome to join the alliance,” he said, emphasizing the Congress’ willingness to build a united opposition front.

Chodankar also revealed that several new leaders are joining the Congress. However, he clarified that the induction of new members would not come at the expense of the party’s existing grassroots leadership.

He assured Block Congress leaders that they would not be sidelined in their respective constituencies, stating that the party remains committed to respecting and strengthening its organisational structure while expanding its support base.
