Goa Dairy BoD complains of irregularities in purchase

Demands inquiry against Managing Director

PONDA: Goa Dairy BoD and former Chairman Rajesh Faldesai on Thursday filed complaint with Goa Dairy Administrator against Goa Dairy MD Anil Fadte alleging irregularities in functioning of Goa Dairy affairs and demanded that inquiry be conducted against him and he should be suspended during the inquiry period.
When contacted, Goa Dairy Administrator Durgesh Shirodkar confirmed that he has received the complaint and he would look into the complaint filed by Faldesai.

Faldesai in his complaint reminded Goa Dairy three member administrative committee which is headed by Shirodkar that he had filed a complaint in July asking for inquiry with regard to irregularities done by Fadte with regard to purchases of raw material made by him for the period Nov 2020 to 31 March 2021 flouting the rules and keeping the committee in dark on it. Faldesai said administrative committee appointed by Government to look administration of Goa Dairy should probe into goods and raw material purchases Fadte did for cattle feed plant. Faldesai also mentioned that Fadte made purchases without giving charge of purchase section to separate officer.
Faldesai further pointed out that it is surprising to note that the cattle feed plant was stopped in first week of August for non availability of raw material such as cotton seed extraction. This is completely negligence on part of Fadte as he failed in his duty to make raw material available for cattle feed manufacturing leading to losses to farmers due to reduction in milk production.
Faldesai also requested to examine all correspondents made by  him to RCS.
