PONDA: Goa Dairy’s Administrative Committee chairman Durgesh Shirodkar on Saturday informed that the Goa Dairy has installed CCTV cameras to monitor the activities at the plant.
Addressing media persons, Shirodkar informed that he and the other two members of Administrative Committee now can watch live the activities at the Goa Dairy Plant from their homes.
He said recently Goa Dairy as part of its cost cutting measures has purchased an automatic machine worth Rs 75,000 for packaging ghee, which has reduced wastage during packaging and also manpower.
Now, with the introduction of the machine, 250 ghee packets are packaged in an hour as compared to 100 earlier.
He said the Administrative Committee is trying to improve Goa Dairy’s financial condition by adopting various measures.
