PANAJI: The Goa government has authorised an additional ₹1,061.15 crore from the State’s Consolidated Fund for the financial year 2026-27 under the Goa Appropriation (No. 4) Act, 2026.
The additional allocation will cover various departments and government services, with significant provisions made for key sectors including electricity, civil supplies, water resources, healthcare and information and publicity.
Among the major allocations, ₹175 crore has been earmarked for Electricity, while ₹100 crore has been provided for Civil Supplies.
The Water Resources Department has been allocated ₹70 crore, while ₹67.50 crore has been earmarked for Goa Medical College.
The Information and Publicity Department will receive ₹60 crore under the additional allocation.
The funds are intended to meet expenditure requirements across various government departments and services during the 2026-27 financial year.
