NEW DELHI: The Goa Government is sitting over formulation of the new coastal zone management plan under the 2011 CRZ notification, the Centre disclosed in the Rajya Sabha on Monday.
In a written reply to Goa’s Congress MP Shantaram Naik, Environment and Forest Minister Anil Madhav Dave said the Goa government has not yet submitted the new plan.
He, however, said the Goa government has already initiated steps for preparation of the plan. He said the CRZ notification requires all coastal states to formulate their respective plans.
