The First Appellate Authority of Goa Legislature has dismissed the appeal of Adv Aires Rodrigues in disclosing the expenditure of the two-day training programme for MLAs. The order claims that disclosing this information would mean a breach of privilege of the House and interfere in the working of the House.
Adv Aires Rodrigues reacted by saying the order is “strange” since similar information was supplied to him earlier. “There is no reason to not furnish the information to me now. I will challenge the order before the State Information Commission,” he said.
