BICHOLIM: Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar on Saturday said Goa is the only State in the country where there is no power supply load-shedding.
The minister was speaking after interacting with the councillors and the panch members of the Bicholim taluka.
“During the Assembly elections many parties came to Goa and spoke of free electricity but one should see what is happening in Punjab. At night, there is always power shedding. Even in neighbouring States of Goa there is load-shedding but Goa is the only State where there is no load-shedding,” Dhavalikar said. He further said that the cost of electricity is lowest in the State.
He also spoke about the underground cabling stating that the cost is huge and will take another 5 to 10 years to see the daylight.
