PANJIM: The Goa Pavillion at the 33rd India International Trade Fair-2013 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi was inaugurated by Swapnil Naik, Director of Information and Publicity in the presence of S V Naik, Director of Industries, Valsala Vijayan, Dy Resident Commissioner, Goa Sadan and Sanjay Shetye, Proprietor Vinsan Graphics.
Dept of Information and Publicity which is the nodal agency, Goa tourism, Goa Handicrafts, GTDC, Directorate of Industries and others have been provided stalls at the pavillion. 
Speaking informally Swapnil Naik said that participation of Goa in mega events like IITF will go a long way in showcasing and projecting Goa to the outer world in right perspective.
The IITF theme of ‘Inclusive growth’ is represented through the photographic display on panels evenly laid out over the pavilion. Posters are used to represent the various schemes and milestones achieved by Goa with respect to women empowerment, infrastructure, eco friendly industries, upliftment of artisans, senior citizens and mining impacted etc. There is a reception area, performance area used for folk dances and cultural programmes, a seating area for spectators and ample space for visitors. IITF will conclude on November 27.
