Goa pays homage to Pt Nehru

The State paid homage to the memory of late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first
Prime Minister of India on his death anniversary at a function held in the open
space of the Secretariat, Porvorim on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Digambar Kamat garlanded the Portrait of Pandit Jawaharlal
Nehru and led the Goans in paying homage to great leader.
Floral tributes were also paid by Dr Wilfred De Souza, Deputy Chairman of Goa
State Planning Board, Chief Secretary Hauzal Haukum, Secretaries to the
Government, Heads of the Departments, Senior Government Officers and staff
of the Secretariat.
