A wreath was also placed on behalf of Governor Dr Mridula Sinha by special secretary to Governor Dr N Radhakrishnan. PWD Minister Ramkrishna alias Sudin Dhavalikar, MLA Naresh Sawal and others placed wreaths and paid tributes the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the State and the country.
Chief Secretary R K Srivastava, secretaries, freedom fighters, District Magistrate, North Swapnil Naik, Additional Secretary (Home), Sanjeev Gadkar, Director, Information & Publicity Jayant Tari, heads of departments and prominent citizens paid homage and offered floral tributes at the Martyrs Memorial.
